4 KIDS and 32 HOURS of TRAVEL with Flights! ✈

This was our first international flight with the four kids! 32 hours of travel with the 4 kids was quite the undertaking. Us parents were pretty nervous about how well the kids about do since we would be on the move for so long.

We packed the kids' bags pretty close to the same as for a road trip, but kept in mind that everyone would have to be lugging their carry-on bags around, plus for a little while all our checked luggage.

Check in next week and see if we were brave enough to venture around the island and what we saw! We're so excited to tell you how it went!

Buh bye, have fun!

Was it WORTH IT? Visiting SAVAI'I in Samoa // Day 1

The day started out with a truck ride to the wharf, around an hour or 2 ferry ride, then more riding in the truck to the beach side fales where we stayed.

This was our first time staying in beach fales! It was right on the beach, which added to the fun!

Hope you enjoy the video!

SEA TURTLES at our resort?! // Day 2 in Savai'i, Samoa

Ok, so this isn't all of day 2 in Savai'i, but it was most of the day. We'll include the rest of day 2 in the next video.

The kids were up nice and early in the morning when the tide was still pretty high, which was a great time to go snorkeling. We weren't expecting to see turtles near the beach we were staying at, so that was a great surprise.

All the kids are getting much better at swimming and Alora has became fearless around water! Which makes Mom fear-ful! lol

We hope by sharing our traveling adventures it lets other families with kids decide if travel is something they want to add into their lifes!

NEW FOODS for the WHOLE FAMILY!! // Day 3 in Savai'i, Samoa

Our third and last day in Savai'i will not be forgotten anytime soon! We drove, what seemed like, all the way around the island, but it was really only a little over half way.

All the family tried new foods! It was quite the variety of foods, everyone found something new to try.

After spending the night and getting to know some great, new people we were off to the ferry ride and back to Upolu!

Thanks for watching!

How BIG IS PAPASE'EA Sliding Rocks? // Apia, Samoa

Papase'ea Sliding Rocks isn't too far from Apia. We pretty much stayed there for half the day and had the place all to ourselves for a few hours. After we got there it rained for a little while, but soon the rain went away and the sun came out.

Everyone had fun, from the littlest to the biggest - so that worked out really well. Oh yeah - watch out it's slippery!

CHASING WATERFALLS in Samoa!! // Ma Tree & Togitogiga Waterfall // West side of Upolu, Day 1

The other side of the island from Apia! We took the Cross Island Road out from Apia and drove for less than 2 hours, including stopping by Papapapaitai Waterfall right off the side of the road. There was a small dirt parking lot, if you blink - you’ll miss it. Then off to find the Ma Tree! It was huge! Not too far from the Ma Tree was Togitogiga Waterfalls which was amazing! We loved it. When we first got there, there weren't very many people, but then it slowly started getting busy.

In our next video we'll let you know where we stayed on the west side!

Here's a YouTube playlist we put together for our trip to Samoa

WHERE did we STAY? South Side of Upolu, Day 2! We stayed there all day…

After getting to Samoa, we found out there were several places to stay that don't have a website, so they didn't show up on our web searches! That was true for the place we stayed, come to find out, they just barely started renting out their rooms.

Good luck Ocean Club Headquarters on your new room additions!

The ocean was so nice, snorkeling was fun and we need a lot more practice on the paddle boards, lol.

6 tips for the BEAUTIFUL TO SUA Ocean Trench - Family Edition

Family visit to To Sua Ocean trench // 3 year old Alora helps explain

Meant to be fun and not too serious. :)

With To Sua being as gorgeous as it is, I was worried there would be tons of people when we got there but there weren’t! It was awesome!

Before going to Samoa, I knew this was one of the places I wanted to go visit. To be honest, it was the main reason we went to that side of the island. This is the place that you seen on the magazines, brochures, and the crazy internet articles. It was just as AMAZING as I had hoped it would be, and maybe a little more! We could have spent a lot more time here than we did, but we needed to get back.

It was 20 Samoan tala (about $8 USD & $12 New Zealand) per adult, something cheaper for the kids and at least one of the kids were free.

If we could go ANYWHERE IN SAMOA, this is where we would go! // Week 2 Summary

Our second week in Samoa was so great. We saw some absolutely gorgeous places! Kevin and the kids checked out an outside kitchen, as they called it.
